@rick81
Yeah, I got my top choice. Most people get their first or second choice. It's all based off how well you do and what the army needs. In my class we had left over combat support arm spots. There are enough people that want those combat arm branches, you don't have to worry about getting stuck with one.

Did you get your top MOS choice? I'm thinking Army OCS but definitely want a combat support arms MOS. Thanks!

@Sava Petrovich
I was told that a combat arms branch had to be included in your top three. Aviation would be the combat arms branch I would most want. It ended up that the list didn't matter and unless you have flight experience, you won't have an opportunity to be an aviator going through OCS.

Thanks for posting this, it was really informative. I noticed that your third choice for MOS was "aviation". Did you or do you want to become an aviator? Which MOS were you eventually trained for? I would love to get an e-mail address from you to ask specific questions. I just started filling out the paperwork yesterday for Army OCS and I don't want to get screwed. I realize the most important part of the journey is now. Also, do yo have a copy of the essay you sent? I would like to peruse it. Thanks.
